And here we go with the long awaited new design. The staff worked for several weeks changing the site's html structure and adding, where possible, graphic elements. We avoided changing the site completely because many of us have some strong habits of netsurfing and changing everything would have been self-defeating. Therefore there are a lot of visual analogies with the old version.

Despite this preamble, the design will surely prove more pleasant from the aesthetical point of view and a lot of pages have some small and great transformations, adding, where possible, new information and functions.

In the next weeks there will be a consolidation period of what has been done up until now. Some pages and sections in the new version have not been completed yet because of time and priority constraints; one of the first tasks of the development team after the initial release of the new version will be to finish those pages.

We await your opinions in the international federation so that together we can improe the new structure.

Among the new functionalities not announced yet in the previous news, we point out:

Moments of Glory
One of the most important news of the new version is the page Moments of Glory. This new functionality, available for everyone, will be present in the page of every single athlete, and it will show all his/her medals won and a series of representative events of the athlete career. In the next weeks new information will be added, also retroactively, on this page.

Federation
We have created in the new version an entirely revised structure of federations, trying to gather the suggestions of the community during this whole development, above all the concerns about reading the unread posts.
